The Immigrant Mission Field Network is a new Recognized Service Organization of the LCMS dedicated to research and making connections for the congregations and entities of the synod to engage the mission fields of diaspora immigrant communities throughout the country. The Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Matthew Buse, was recently installed in that role and is available for presentations. If you want to hear how you can partner with the IMFN in our initial programming of citywide conferences, young adult mission field visit trips to U.S. cities, and our upcoming podcast, please contact immigrantmissionfieldnetwork@
The extensive networks of diaspora immigrant communities within our synod present excellent opportunities for mission work, and we’d love for you to hear more about them and how you can be involved.
