Meet the Indiana District’s Missionaries!
Following is a list of the missionaries from the Indiana District who are serving through the LCMS offices of National and International Missions.
Gary, Indiana
At present, Rev. Donald Stock is serving Good Shepherd Lutheran in Gary, Indiana and Rev. Eric Stumpf is serving St. John Lutheran in Gary, Indiana.
Rev. Patrick Gumz is serving as the Chaplain for Ascension Lutheran School.
Columbus and Indianapolis, Indiana
Pastor Daniel Fickenscher is serving St. Paul Lutheran Church in Columbus, Indiana. He is working with Spanish speaking people in Columbus and the surrounding areas.
Pastor Daniel Fickenscher is honored to be serving the Spanish-speaking population of Indianapolis alongside of Pastor Samuel Ruiz, a longtime missionary of the Indiana District. He leads weekly Sunday services in Spanish at Trinity Lutheran Church while also working with Trinity Lutheran School to connect the Hispanic families of the school with the church. Relations are being established with the families of Trinity as well with other area LCMS pastors and laypeople to extend the reach of the gospel across the city among the Latino community.
