Nominations Due Soon! – District Convention Reminders

The Indiana District Convention is just around the corner, and important due dates and materials are coming soon!
Please note the following IMPORTANT REMINDERS!

  • NOMINATIONS – due APRIL 20 ~ Each congregation should have received a gold District President nomination form (1 per congregation), a blue Regional Vice-President nomination form (1 per congregation), and a white, reproducible nomination form for district officers in their notice of convention mailing.  The nomination form for district officers is for BOD, treasurer, secretary, nominations committee, and constitution committee.  This form is available on the district website under the PRESIDENT tab under CONVENTIONS / DISTRICT CONVENTION (click here for direct link) and can be submitted by any member of an Indiana District congregation.
  • VOTING DELEGATE REPORTING FORM ~ Each congregation should have received a convention announcement mailing that included a grey Delegate Form.    Though the forms were due in February, YOU CAN STILL SUBMIT THEM.  Voting delegates must be properly reported and credentialed to be able to vote at convention.  If your congregation did not receive the notice of convention packet or needs another copy, please contact Lisa in the district office as soon as possible.  It is important to note that the REPORTING of delegates (getting the proper signature) is different from REGISTERING!
  • ASSESSMENTS ~ A bulk mailing will be sent out to all congregations by March 31.  Be on the lookout for important information!
  • REGISTRATION INFO ~ A bulk mailing will be sent out by the end of the first week of April.  It is important to note that REPORTING delegates is NOT THE SAME as REGISTERING!  Reporting assigns the right to vote to specific people by way of congregational signatures.  REGISTERING lets us know who all will be coming, lets us prepare for seating, meals, nametags, etc. ALL ATTENDEES MUST REGISTER, even if they are already reported.

We would love to have ALL Indiana District congregations engaged in the convention process and make their voices heard!
