St Paul Lutheran Church of Kouts, Indiana will be hosting Rev. Dr. Tom Park on April 8th.
A native of South Korea and a college friend of Rev. Westgate (the pastor of St Paul), Rev. Park currently serves as a missionary in Taiwan. You can read more about Rev. Park here: lcms.org/park
This will be the first stop on Rev. Park’s “home service”–a Synod-wide tour that missionaries go on every couple of years in order to provide updates on their work and to thank the congregations and individuals who financially support them.
The evening will start with Easter Wednesday Vespers, starting at 6pm (Central) in the church. Missionary Park will give his presentation in the Parish Hall starting at 7pm. A free-will offering will be collected in support of Rev. Park’s work.
Light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to the church office by calling 219-766-2395 or emailing stpaullutheranchurch@frontier.com
