Rev. John Hallock (center) has been serving as a football coach for Midway University. This has allowed him to build relationships with a number of young men, providing an opportunity to share the good news of Christ. This has resulted in several football players visiting Good Shepherd in Lexington (some of whom are pictured above). These young men have been undergoing catechesis, having come to appreciate the theological depth of liturgical worship in contrast to the shallow showmanship found in non-denominational mega-churches.
Please pray for these catechumens, that God would strengthen their faith as they grow in knowledge of Biblical truth. Please also pray that God would continue to bless Rev. Hallock’s efforts to share the love of Christ with all those he comes in contact with.
If you are moved to support these efforts financially in addition to with your prayers, please send a check to “Indiana District-LCMS” 1145 Barr Street Fort Wayne IN 46802 with “Outreach Kentucky” on the memo line. Thank you!
