Vaccine, Masks and Religious Exemption

Some are questioning whether they can claim a religious exemption when it comes to getting a vaccine, wearing masks and the like.

This message is NOT giving any LCMS legal advice.  We have no official stance on these issues.  However, the link below connects you with some legal “advice” and FAQ’s from the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF).

(It should be noted that some have crafted statements seeking religious exemption for getting a vaccine based on the use of fetal tissue in creating the mRNA vaccines.  Whether such statements would, in a court of law, stand to sustain a person’s religious exemption is unknown.)

Blessings in all your vocations

IN Christ,
