Our Shepherd Lutheran Church (9201 E. County Road 100 N, Avon, IN) is hosting two special events in celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation.

Faithful, You Are — A Modern Reformation Concert and Night of Worship

“For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” — Psalm 100:5

God is faithful, remembering and keeping His promises forever. As we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, we see how God faithfully preserved His Word and Church in history. In 2017, God still keeps His promises to you too!

Join us at Our Shepherd Lutheran in Avon for an evening of modern music and worship in celebration of the Reformation on October 1st at 6 pm. Cameron Shank, a veteran who fought in Afghanistan, will give his testimony.

Traditional Reformation Concert

“Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world.”—-Martin Luther

The music ensembles of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Avon will be presenting a special concert on Sunday, October 29, at 6:30 pm, to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.

It will include congregational hymns and music performed by the Adult Choir, School Choir, Jr. Choir, Youth Chorale, Men’s Ensemble, Handbell Choir, and Brass Ensemble, focusing especially on hymns of Martin Luther.

We invite the community to attend, as we celebrate this important event!
