Transition

Published on June 27th, 2018

We are all in the midst of transition at this time!  This may be my final Daniel’s Den Leadership article, (unless the new DP wants or needs me to write another one or two).  Now that the convention is over, I want to thank you for the privilege and honor of serving with you as District President for the past 15 years!  While every day has not been easy, I have loved it and will miss it!  While I am serving until the end of September, we are beginning a transition.  Some of you have asked me, “So Dan, what now?”  I hope to serve in some capacity in the days ahead.  I have some preaching engagements lined up and there may be a few others things that God has planned.  After all, God’s plans are my future and hope even as they are for you.

Judy and I will be remaining in Fort Wayne and my cell number will remain the same and maybe my email.  The bonds of faith and love that we enjoy in the Indiana District will hopefully continue until God calls us home.  I will be attending the LWML Convention to bring greetings and I have a few installations between now and Sept. 9.  However, Sept. 30 will come quickly and a new chapter in my life will begin!  You will all remain in my prayers and I will be seeing you here and there.  As the Apostle Paul writes to the Philippians, so I write to you,  I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Please pray regularly for our new DP as he begins a big and exciting new chapter in his life!

In the love of Christ, Dan
