The Wind Symphony from Concordia Chicago Presenting

Published on January 9th, 2019

The Wind Symphony from Concordia Chicago, under the direction of Dr. Richard Fischer, will be passing through Indiana at both the beginning and the end of their spring tour this March. Both concerts are at 7pm:

Friday, March 8 – Faith, Bloomington

Saturday, March 16 – St. Michael, Ft. Wayne

This premiere instrumental ensemble at Concordia has performed in 43 states and four continents, with recent visits to both China and South Africa. This tour will also include their second invitational visit to Carnegie Hall, on Wednesday, March 13.

There is no charge for admission, although a free-will offering will be taken during the concert.¬†With selections ranging from sacred to secular, traditional to modern, there is something for everyone. The concerts are always uplifting and also serve as a wonderful Christian witness. We are pleased that they’ll be visiting both ends of the state, and hope that many people will be able to take advantage of this opportunity to hear and support them.
