The Missional Family

Published on September 10th, 2019

A century ago, the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod sent missionaries to India to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ.  Fast-forward 100 years, and India is sending a missionary to Indiana!

“The church in America is struggling, and I am challenging the US church to train and send families into the community to win them to Christ– but it’s not what you think. This is not door-to-door evangelism, rather, it’s being a family that loves others as Christ loved us.”

Dr. Matthew is the founder and director of Urban India Ministries, successfully equipping Lutherans to transform cities in India, one family at a time!

With his wife, Ciby, this missionary team will speak, lead discussion, and teach church leaders (ordained, commissioned, and lay) what it means to cultivate intentional and missional families within churches.

This is a training that can be implemented in your congregation to raise up strong parents and families, who will in turn become an attractional force for ministry to families in your community!
