Supporting the Lutheran Seminary in Siberia

Published on October 26th, 2018

Rev. Dr. Alan Ludwig, an LCMS missionary, has just retired from full-time service at The Lutheran Theological Seminary in Novosibirsk (Siberia). He shares the following letter along with the need to raise funds for the Lutheran Seminary in Russia.

Dear Christian friends,

I plan to be involved with the ongoing financial support of the seminary. For some time the seminary’s financial situation has been difficult. We never know from year to year whether we will receive sufficient funding. Now, with the blessing of LCMS president Matthew Harrison, an effort is being made to create an endowment for the seminary, so that there can be financial stability.

If you would like to contribute to the ongoing life of the seminary, all the information is included in this downloadable brochure.

It is vital that this work continue in these trying times we live in. Russia needs the clear and pure preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I stand firmly behind the work that our Lutheran Theological Seminary does in proclaiming our Savior, who is the Light that shines in the darkness.

Peace to you in Christ,

Rev. Dr. Alan Ludwig
