Student Appreciation Sunday at Grace Lutheran

Published on November 22nd, 2016

On Sunday November 20, 2016, Rev. Robinson was privileged to bring the Word of God to the members and students attending Grace Lutheran Church in Muncie, Indiana. This Sunday was Student Appreciation Sunday.

The students during the Sunday school hour presented a slide show expressing their thanks for the ongoing campus ministry at Grace Lutheran Church. They specifically thanked Deaconess Mitchell and Pastor Mackey for their efforts in sharing the Word of God with them and enabling them to experience fellowship and Bible Study in a Lutheran Christian atmosphere.

The students also expressed their deep appreciation to the congregational members for enabling to feel at home and accepted while they are away from their home congregations.

Leadership from the congregation of Grace Lutheran expressed their great joy in having the students be a part of their congregation. They also pointed out how much they missed the students when they went home on student breaks.

Rev. Robinson took some of the student leadership out to lunch following the late service. This was a productive time of getting to know the student leadership better. Rev. Robinson left his time with the students praising God for these faithful young women and men who are ready and willing to take on leadership roles in future congregations that they will join.
