Running the Race…to Lexington! – LWML Convention

Published on March 31st, 2021

After much prayer, the Board of Directors continues to make plans for an in-person convention in Lexington June 24-27. All state and local guidelines for large gatherings will be set in place to make this convention safe for those who choose to come. Highlights of the convention are the opening worship service with communion, the sending worship service on Sunday, Bible studies, luncheons, and entertainment Saturday night by the Billie Renee & Cumberland Gap, a Bluegrass band.

The Host Committee is still looking for volunteer workers to serve in child care, as a hostess at a hotel, airport, or at Rupp Arena, as a VIP driver, an usher or communion assistant, assist with the eight servant activities or mission walk, and many other opportunities.
