RSO Spotlight: Lutheran Life Villages

Today marks the kick-off of a short series of articles in our new “RSO Spotlight.”
RSO’s (Recognized Service Organizations) are not-for-profit organizations that are independent of the LCMS,
but operate ministry programs that foster the mission and ministry of the church.
We are excited to share a little more about some of these RSO’s with the people of the Indiana District,
and ask that you join us in praying for these groups and the people they serve.
If you have questions about an RSO, they would love to have you contact them!
Today we spotlight Lutheran Life Villages out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Lutheran Life Villages is a faith-based, nonprofit organization providing high-quality living options and care to older adults in northeast Indiana since 1931. We offer residential living, assisted living, skilled nursing, short- and long-term rehabilitation; memory care, respite care and cottage-style living in a pocket neighborhood. We currently operate five communities in the Fort Wayne area: The Village at Anthony Boulevard, The Village at Kendallville, The Village at Pine Valley, Piper Trail cottage community, and the newly added Village at Inverness- a memory care assisted living community. Watch a brief video on the history and growth of our organization here.

Alex Kiefer, president and CEO of Lutheran Life Villages, said, “Lutheran Life Villages is dedicated to being a provider and an employer of choice. The addition of The Village at Inverness increases our ability to provide residents with the specialized care they need, when they need it.”

Lutheran Life Villages serves over 700 individuals each month, employs over 550 staff, and is blessed with over 100 dedicated volunteers. We also sponsor The Fort Wayne Foster Grandparent Program and Rock Steady Boxing Program.

Anyone wishing to become a part of the LLV community as a resident, staff member, volunteer, donor, or anything else, can learn more by visiting our website, following us on social media, or stopping by any of our campuses.
