Well actually, they even APPEAR close! A loving reminder that all rostered folks on CANDIDATE STATUS, both ordained and commissioned, must have their annual reports submitted through LCW.lcms.org by July 31. Candidates should also make sure their contact information is up to date in the system, and review and re-submit their Explanation of Candidate Status Form (ECS), as required by synod bylaws.
This is particularly important for those of our candidates whose 10-year candidate status is up for COP review. Those candidates must be sure and complete the full ECS form (along with the annual report), as their ECS form includes a special question regarding whether or not they are requesting that the Council of Presidents extends their status.
If you are having problems logging into the LCW.lcms.org site, please reach out to rosters.stats@lcms.org or call them at 314.996.1366, as the district office does not have any access to login information for this system. Those of our rostered members who are on EMERITUS status do not have to complete their annual reports yet, and should wait until at least December 1 to do them, as theirs aren’t due until January 31.
