Rev. John Hallock was installed as pastor of Good Shepherd, Lexington on Sunday, July 28th. In addition to serving the flock there, Rev. Hallock will serve as the Indiana District’s Missionary-At-Large for the Outreach Kentucky project. In this role he will be working to reach the people of Richmond Kentucky, a mission field of over 36,000 souls without any current LCMS presence. Lord willing, his efforts will eventually result in a new congregation planted in Richmond, as well as a thriving campus ministry reaching out to the students at Eastern Kentucky University.
Please pray that God would bless Rev. Hallock’s labor in this new Call. If you would also like to help support this work financially, please mail your check to the Indiana District office with “Outreach Kentucky” on the memo line.
Participating in the installation are, from left to right:
Front Row: Rev. Mark Stenbeck, Rev. John Hallock, Rev. David Witten (Circuit Visitor), Rev. Lohn Johnson, Rev. Thomas Elbert Jr.
Back row: Chaplain Michael Hartley, Rev. Micah Schmidt, Rev. Dr. Geoffrey Robinson, Rev. John Bowlds
