Registering for New Blue Cross Blue Shield Cards

All members enrolled in Blue Cross Blue Shield coverage for 2017 should have already received new ID cards. These cards were generated due to a change in BCBS’s claims platform. Even members who did not make a plan option change for 2017 will receive a new Group number as well as a new ID number.

These new cards supersede and replace all prior cards. Online re-registration is required to access doctor, network and claims information. Even members who have a current BCBS account must re-register. Step-by-step registration instructions were included with your card. Once members re-register, a single sign will be available through MyCPS.org.

Members will be able to set-up their new log-in information on the new BCBS portal beginning 1/1/2017. If you attempted to do this before 1/1/2017, you will have received an error message. Registration will work now that it is 2017.
