Mount Calvary welcomes Pastor Karl Frincke Pastor Karl Frincke has joined Mount Calvary Lutheran Church as their transitional pastor. He is the fifth generation of Frincke pastors in the LCMS, who first served a two-point parish in Wellesley and Poole, Ontario, Canada. He also served in Lancaster, PA, then in Ft. Wayne. After retirement he has served as a Transition Pastor in five locations: Hammond and Kendallville, IN; Van Wert, OH; Demotte and Ft. Wayne, IN. He has been blessed greatly in each of these congregations, which he loved. He was born and raised in Royal Oak, MI, before getting his college education at Concordia, Ann Arbor, MI, and Concordia Sr. College, Ft. Wayne. He is a graduate of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, having served his vicarage year in Torrance, CA. He has been a Pastor since 1975. Pastor Karl has been married to Susan for 51 years. She is a retired Lutheran school teacher. She and Pastor are grateful to God that all three of their children and grandchildren live in Ft. Wayne: Jonathan (wife Jessica) and three boys; Kara (husband Sean); and Dave (wife Bethany) and their four children.
