LAMP Updates for December

Published on November 27th, 2019

This past year has been one of the best seasons to serve up north.  Without any mechanical issues, LAMP Ministry’s Pastor/pilot, Dennis Ouellette, was able to fit in extended visits in the vast and remote area he serves.  Relationships are crucial in order to carry out this ministry. Hence,  Pastor Dennis stays overnight to allow more time to be with both the teams and the community members.

The work that the volunteers do is to encourage and support people in their walk with Christ.  And the communities appreciate it very much.  They (especially the children) anxiously await the team’s return next year.

Pastor Dennis shares photos and stories of his summer ministry in the North at: https://lightabovemypath.blogspot.com/

Be sure to also read LAMP’s volunteers’ stories in our fall newsletter AND get Advent Devotions for your self, your fmaily or your classroom at   https://www.lampministry.org/#/news-devotions/.

A lasting impact – is that what you’re looking for?

A mission trip into northern Canada with LAMP Ministry can make a lasting impact on your life and the lives of the Indigenous people you serve.  Our focus is sharing the love of Jesus Christ primarily through a Vacation Bible School.  We currently have northern communities waiting for a team to come and also a few mission teams in need of more members. If you give of your time to volunteer with LAMP Ministry by serving others, you will make a difference and feel fulfillment beyond words.  Explore our website at https://www.lampministry.org/#/get-involved/.

If God has placed a call for missions on your heart, please call 1-800-307-4036, extension 1 or email shelly@lampministry.org.
