The Indiana District is blessed to have a group of women who plan an annual “Katie Retreat” for pastors’ wives and widows. Named in honor of Martin Luther’s loving wife, Katie, this retreat is designed to bring together women who share in the vocation of being a pastor’s wife, share stories, support one another, pray and laugh together, and be built up to serve.
The 2026 retreat is planned for January 30-February 1 at the Our Lady of Fatima Retreat House in Indianapolis, IN. This year’s event welcomes keynote speaker Darcy Paape and presentations by Paula Isakson (Faith Family Reunion). There will also be crafting opportunities to support Worship Anew and a chance for attendees to join in preliminary planning for the 2027 Katie Retreat.
