Join Concordia Seminary for an ‘Old School Showdown’ Alumni basketball game on February 6, 2026!
Don’t let the buzzer sound without taking a shot! The annual alumni basketball games are returning to Pederson Field House Feb. 6, and time is running out to sign up. Alumni interested in playing in an “Old School Showdown” have until Jan. 31 to register to hit the hardwood.
Event details:
▪ Date: Friday, Feb. 6, 2026
▪ Location: Pederson Field House
▪ Game times: 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
A special freewill offering will be collected during the alumni games to provide assistance to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Louis, Mo., for their “90 days for 80 kids” program. Bethlehem Lutheran is helping to provide a safe Christ-centered place for children as their families await child-care subsidies to process after last spring’s devastating tornado.
Whether you are ready to hit the court or cheer from the sidelines, the “Old School Showdown” is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with classmates, support your fellow alumni and enjoy an exciting evening of basketball – the Preachers way! Admission is free.
Ready to lace up your sneakers and play? Be sure to sign up by Jan. 31, 2026!
