Issues in Christian Education – an invitation to subscribe

Published on November 23rd, 2016

Issues in Christian Education has begun its 50th year of publication with its current edition, “The Christian, the Congregation, and Public Education.”

Issues provides discussion on a variety of topics related to teaching in the church with a perspective from the Reformation’s insights about the Gospel.  We warmly invite you to update your free subscription or to subscribe—subscription is and remains free—to our distribution list at https://issues.cune.edu/subscribe/.  In this 500th year of the Reformation, here is an easy way to monitor themes and views about teaching in the Lutheran tradition.

We do not collect data, we do not share our distribution lists, and we do not presume to subscribe you without your consent.  You can easily unsubscribe at any time.

Issues is a publication of the faculty of Concordia University, Nebraska and offers clear prose from scholar-practitioners for the church.  Not a research journal or a magazine, Issues stakes out the territory of exploring, discussing, and applying knowledge from Scripture and from God’s left-hand kingdom—the world—to our work for God’s right-hand kingdom and the Gospel, especially in the church’s education ministries.

Again the simple subscription form (takes about 15 seconds) is at https://issues.cune.edu/subscribe/.  And our partner site is The Two Kingdoms Network

Thanks, and have blessed Thanksgiving and a hopeful Advent.
