Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont, IN (part of the English District – LCMS) is beginning an intentional ministry program to college students at Trine University in Angola. The ministry will be gearing up in the next few weeks / months, and will include regular Bible Study and fellowship, open to any students at Trine, as well as students commuting to / from the Angola area.
To get a student plugged in or to ask any questions, please contact Rev. Jared Rudolph, associate pastor at Peace, at pastorrudolph@plcms.org. Rev. Rudolph will be reaching out to the students with information and an invitation. PARENTS: Please feel free to reach out with your own student’s information and pass along to friends who have students at Trine. PASTORS: Please contact Rev. Rudolph with names of students from your congregation who would be blessed by this new intentional ministry.
It is such a BLESSING to have our students plugged in to regular time in the Word, even when away from home! We appreciate the efforts of our sister district in coordinating opportunities for Christian fellowship for our Trine University students.
A reminder for ALL: You can use the Synod Locator to find churches near your student no matter what school they attend, or to find a place to worship when you are traveling! Just go to locator.lcms.org/church and hit USE MY LOCATION in the top right hand corner. You can then add your student’s address (or a vacation address, etc) and even change the range to indicate how far you are willing to travel, and hit SEARCH. Please note that even just a partial address or just city and state will work, but you MUST PROVIDE A ZIP CODE for this type of search.
