I will be presenting the latest version of the Indiana State Police “Unarmed Response to an Active Shooter Event” program (URASE) in two sessions of the Fall Advanced Training conducted by the ISSSA (Indiana Dept. of Ed). Several versions of the URASE program will be posted in the next few days on the ISP website.
Indiana State Police Troopers are also trained to provide the program in your various building. These programs may be scheduled by visiting the Indiana State Police home page and clicking on active shooter preparedness on the left side of the home page.

Schools may also schedule their own “Unarmed Response to an Active Shooter Event” (PowerPoint/Practical Program) in one of their respective school buildings by visiting the ISP website and clicking on “Active Shooter Preparedness.”
The Indiana State Police “Threat Assessment Tutorial” is also being developed and will be provided regionally (location and date to be determined) to private, public, charter, etc. schools. The first regional training will be conducted (location and date to be determined) in the Fall followed by Winter, Spring and Summer presentations.
This program will provide assistance on how school may develop their own “Assessment.”
