Dear Friends in Christ,
Mr. Nathan Wingfield has accepted the Call to serve as our new Indiana District Education Executive. He and I will be in conversation over the coming days and weeks, and I know that he will want to be in touch with the folks on our interim education team, as well, in looking ahead and working toward his transition to the District Office this summer. We have not discussed a specific start date yet, but he will be finishing out the academic year at Trinity Lutheran School in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. At this point I anticipate that he and his family will likely be moving to Indiana in June.
Nathan was able to share the announcement with his congregation on Sunday the 2nd of February. Please keep our brothers and sisters at Trinity, Sheboygan, in your prayers as they prepare to say goodbye to the Wingfields. And of course, please do keep Nathan, his wife Hannah, and their children in your prayers, as they prepare for the significant transitions now on the horizon for their family. I am confident that they will be warmly received and supported within our Indiana District.
We give thanks to God that He is providing us with a new education executive in a timely manner; and we pray that He would bless Nathan as he comes to join us in the Indiana District, and that He would continue to bless our District in all of its endeavors to glorify His Holy Name in serving His holy people entrusted to our care.
