Holy Cross Hosting Corrie ten Boom Presentation in March

The Senior Saints of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3425 Crescent Ave., Fort Wayne, IN are sponsoring The Hiding Place, a Living-History True Story, a re-enactment of the life of Corrie ten Boom, presented live by Karla Chandler of St. Louis. The presentation is approximately 45 minutes long will be held in the Holy Cross sanctuary on March 26, beginning at 2:30 p.m. EST.   All ages are invited to attend. A free-will offering will be accepted, and refreshments will be served following the presentation.

Corrie was a watchmaker’s daughter in Nazi-occupied Netherlands during World War II. Chandler’s re-enactment tells the story of how Corrie, her father (Casper), and her sister (Betsie) helped an estimated eight hundred Jews and refugees hide from the Germans and escape. In the years that followed, God led Corrie to discover that: “Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives, is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see.”
