LCMS National Housing Support Corporation (Lutheran Housing Support) is seeking proposals as it launches its 2016 Helping Hand Initiative.
The “Helping Hand” is an owner-occupied rehabilitation initiative focused on supporting the critical home repair needs of low-income, disabled, and/or elderly residents near LCMS altars, spearheaded by LCMS congregations and their community partners.
Through the support of a grant awarded to Lutheran Housing Support (LHS) at the LWML Convention in June 2015, LHS will partner with and offer a maximum of $90,000 to one LCMS congregation. This Request For Proposal (RFP) process is competitive and all proposals are due by December 11, 2015.
