Fort Wayne Area Church Has Supplies Available: Sat., May 18, 9-noon

Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne is getting ready to downsize and relocate.  As part of that process they have a LOT of items that they would love to “re-home.”  On Saturday, May 18 from 9-noon (Eastern) they will have those items out and available (1819 Reservation Drive; Fort Wayne, IN).  Enter through the front church doors. They are getting rid of things on a first-come-first-served basis and hope that folks can take items with them at the time of the event, but can work with you to make arrangements for other pickup if needed (very limited office hours).  Donations (particularly for larger items) are welcomed but not necessary.  Please share this information with your pastors, altar guild, children’s ministries person, school librarian, pre-school teachers, confirmation coordinator, etc. as you see appropriate.

Here is a listing of just some of the items that will be available:

  • Books (including many pre-school level)
  • Lutheran Service Books
  • NIV Bibles
  • Trays for individual communion cups
  • Numerous banners and stands
  • Many worship items
  • Paraments
  • Tables and chairs
  • Adult office desks
  • Office supplies
  • Confirmation gowns
  • Choir robes
  • Children’s costumes for Bible presentations
  • Other miscellaneous items

Please contact transitional pastor Rev. Karl Frincke or the church at 260-747-4121 with any questions.
