For over 25 years each summer Cornerstone Lutheran Church in Carmel has sponsored a week-long fine arts camp for elementary age children. It has proven to be an effective tool for energizing faith formation, music, and worship programs at our church. And it costs the congregation nothing!
The Association of Lutheran Church Musicians is sponsoring a half-day workshop on June 13th (during this year’s camp) to assist other congregations in understanding what the FAA is, how to manage one, and its many benefits. Each workshop participant will receive a 30-page handbook on how to start a similar camp in their congregation as well as hearing from Jan Williams, the program founder and Anna & Sam Moody, the current co-directors.
