Building Resilient Youth Mental Health
Wednesday, September 20, 2023
12:00 – 1:00 pm
Presenter: Deaconess Heidi Goehmann
Join in conversation with deaconess, author, and licensed clinical social worker, Heidi Goehmann, to discuss youth mental health and tools for helping youth grow in resilience and hope. This presentation covers what resilience is and what it is not, based on research from a Biblical and mental health perspective, and identifies three specific kinds of resilience to share with the youth in your life today. Let’s help build youth resilience to prevent youth suicide during National Suicide Prevention Month this September!
Heidi Goehmann received her bachelor’s degree in theology and psychology from Concordia University Chicago, and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Toledo with an emphasis on children, families, and social justice.
