IDYG 2018 – Indiana District Youth Gathering

Registration is now open for the Indiana District Youth Gathering 2018!

Our theme for this year is based on 1 Thessalonians 5:11 focusing on “Present”.  We want to encourage our youth to be present in the lives of their family, friends, congregation, and community just as Christ is always present in our lives.  Our guest speaker is Katie Stam Irk.  Katie is a lifelong Lutheran from Seymour, IN, and a past Miss America.  Katie will also share how important Community is in the lives of young Christians.  Music will be provided by Kyle Borcherding and his musicians from our host church.  The event will include a variety of Bible studies, songs, captivating messages, fellowship, and service.

Churches may choose to come Friday evening through Saturday afternoon.  This will include all of the service, the breakouts, and most of the speaker.  Churches that pick the full weekend option will also participate in an additional large group session, campfire devotions, and Sunday morning worship.  Refer to the Schedule of Events to see how the weekend will progress.
