2019 Indiana District Lutheran School Administrators Conference

July 17, 2019 - July 18, 2019

Sharpening One Another; Built Up

Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another  Proverbs 27:17

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.  1 Thessalonians 5:11

This year’s Summer Admin Conference in Brown County reflects major beliefs of our District. First, the need for support and encouragement is a need for all who are in leadership. Our conference reflects this with needed worship, prayer and devotion time (led by Rev. Rigdon of St John-Kendallville) as well as time to regenerate in the beauty of Brown County.  Second, the conference reflects the understanding that there are many topics that are of need of answers or sharing. To address this, Kevin Brockberg, our superintendent, has encouraged the use of a hybrid Ed Camp model for the retreat.  This model will allow for many topics to be addressed and much more important content to be shared. This model also lends itself to one more purpose of the conference- using the many talents and insights of Indiana District leaders. With the addition of IDOE personnel, Tim Goeglein, Kara Bratton and John Elcesser, you are cordially invited to add to the rich discourse and wide-ranging discussions on topics relevant to your ministry.

Please make registration and attendance for this conference a priority for your summer.
