How do we teach the faith in a world that is rapidly changing? What impact does the world around us have on our imparting of knowledge and spiritual truths to those we encounter? What is happening to our brains with our technology usage and what role does this have on learning? It is with these questions and more that we focus our attention for our spring symposium. The reality is not as the picture on this page would indicate. This is a postcard from the early 1900’s where the artist was depicting what the year 2000 would look like for learning. This is hardly the case. Learning and certainly digesting knowledge is not as easy as putting a book in grinder and it all appear in our brains. But how do we learn today and in particular, how do we learn the ancient yet completely relevant truths of God’s Word? Our guest speaker is Rev. Dr. John Oberdeck of Concordia University Wisconsin.

A light breakfast will be served prior to the beginning of the event.
