The Reverend Dr. Arthur A. Just Jr., a professor at Concordia Theological Seminary since 1984, was honored with a festschrift during the May 6 convocation, recognizing his forty-two years of service and scholarship. The festschrift, titled He Opened to Us the Scriptures: Essays in Honor of Arthur A. Just Jr., features twenty essays from faculty and Lutheran leaders, covering themes of church scriptures, worship, and mission. Key contributions include works by Peter J. Scaer, John W. Kleinig, and Andrew K. Pfeiffer, all planned and edited by Provost Charles A. Gieschen.
He Opened to Us the Scriptures is expected to be available this June from Concordia Publishing House.
