District Welcomes New Executive for Finance

Published on April 3rd, 2019

God’s Blessings to you all.  My name is Cody Dodson and it is a blessing to have this wonderful opportunity to serve the Indiana District in the capacity of Executive for Finance.  I am humbled and honored to join such a wonderful staff and incredible District of the LC-MS.  I have served as the Practice Administrator for an independent, physician-owned medical facility in Southeast New Mexico for the past 12 years but am excited for a shift from healthcare to utilizing my abilities to serve the District and its congregations at the highest level possible.  My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in business and most recently an M.B.A. in Strategic Management.

God has graciously granted me a variety of vocations, none more important than those of husband and father.  My wife, Erin, is in every way my better half.  Wives and mothers are the most underappreciated vocations in society today, and I try every day to show her appreciation.  She is a wonderful mother as well as a tremendous nurse.  God has blessed me as a father to six sons, Ethan (13), Owen (11), Henry (8), Philip (6), Archer (3), and Leo (2 months).  While they test us daily, my wife and I are thankful to be so blessed.  In addition to our vocations of husband and wife, our vocations of father and mother are of the utmost importance.  We try to instill in our children the importance of the Church in our lives and in our vocations.  My family and I look forward to this new chapter and adventure in Fort Wayne, Indiana!

The Indiana  District welcomes Cody to the staff and are excited for you to meet him too.  His arrival from New Mexico is pending. We will be sure to inform you when the Dodsons arrive.
