The 69th Regular Convention of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod is scheduled for July 18–23, 2026, in downtown Phoenix, AZ.
The theme will be “Christ Is Risen Indeed,” based on 1 Corinthians 15:20–22:
“But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.”
58 Delegates and District representatives from the Indiana District will be heading out late this week for the LCMS National Convention. Members of floor committees will be in meetings on Friday, July 17, and all other delegates and representatives start their official duties on-site with optional open floor committee meetings Saturday morning. The full delegate orientation will be that afternoon followed by the delegate dinner and opening Divine Service.
Voting and advisory delegates and district representatives will then attend long days in sessions starting at 8:00 and running through 6:00 pm, until the convention adjourns at noon on Thursday, July 23. It will most certainly be a long week of convention business, voting, reporting, learning, and connecting, for all involved, and we are thankful for the men and women who have stepped forward to represent the people of our district at this important event.
