Concordia Health Plan’s New Mental Health Resource

On May 1, Concordia Health Plan Services rolled out a new resource designed to further support and enhance the mental health care of church workers in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) called Confide Behavioral Health Navigator through the nationwide mental health care network Evernorth. Some highlights include: an enhanced Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that provides up to 8 free mental health counseling sessions per year per mental health topic (up from 6 sessions previously), 24/7 access to clinical help, and resources for not only for the Concordia Health Plan member but to the member’s entire household, even those who are not considered dependents.

Please encourage your pastor and other church workers who enrolled in Concordia Health Plans to take full advantage of these rich mental health benefits! Click here for more information:

Concordia Health Plans also offers a list of Lutheran counselors. While there are not currently counselors listed for Indiana, there are a number of them who provide online counseling to anyone in the country, including Dr. Mark Vande Braak who specializes in grief and loss counseling.
