On Saturday, November 8th 2025, Trinity Lutheran Church on Decatur Road in Fort Wayne hosted an evangelism training and canvassing experience for seminarians, led by Rev. Dr. Geoffrey Robinson. Following instruction and a pizza lunch provided by Trinity Lutheran, the seminarians were accompanied by Rev. Dr. Robinson and Rev. Dr. Geoffrey Boyle (professor at CTSFW) in canvassing a nearby trailer park of approximately sixty-five homes.
This was a good experience for all who participated, and there were several people in the trailer park who were receptive to return visits. Follow-up calls are planned for December.
We praise God for the willingness of the students to participate, and for the openness of the homeowners to conversation. We also thank Rev. Michael Trombley and the members of Trinity for serving as hosts for this training.
