Campus Ministry: North Manchester University

Published on January 9th, 2016

St. John’s Lutheran Church in Columbia City is holding Bible studies for college students each Monday evening at 7:30 pm in the conference room of Petersime Chapel on Manchester University’s campus in North Manchester University, Indiana. The Bible study is led by Vicar Mike Terkula and Deaconess Intern Carole Terkula from St. John’s.

St. John’s has been doing campus ministry at Manchester University for seven years, and this is the first year for St. John’s campus ministry to become an official affiliate of the Synod’s LCMS-U program.

LCMS-U is an initiative to connect and support Lutheran students as they head off to college and face countless challenges to their biblical worldview, doctrine, ethics and practices. You can get more information about LCMS-U by visiting the LCMS website and clicking on the campus ministry section here.

If you have a child or grandchild who is currently attending Manchester University or plans to attend this coming academic year, please contact Deaconess Intern Carole Terkula so that she can personally reach out and invite him/her to attend these Bible studies and offer support. She can be reached at 260-244-3712 or deaconessintern.stjohns@gmail.com.
