On December 31, two of the friendly faces from the Indiana District office staff retired. We give thanks for the accumulated 73 years of service of Jan Koenig and Nancy Losher. These two ladies faithfully served the people and congregations of the district and saw many changes over the years.
Jan joined the Indiana District office staff in 1979, originally as receptionist and as administrative assistant for the finance department. She served in that capacity for nine years and then became the administrative assistant to the district president in 1988.
Jan was an invaluable resource and the driving force in the office ever since!
After retirement, Jan looks forward to lots of crocheting, more time to visit her two children with husband, Herb, and discovering the way God will continue to use her mightily in this next chapter.
Nancy spent her entire 31-year district office career serving in the same role, administrative assistant for Outreach.
Nancy added love and warmth to the office as she often has been found cooking up meals and desserts for in-house conferences, along with her other duties.
Nancy and husband, Rick, look forward to more long-weekends at the lake and time to keep up with their children and grandchildren in the days ahead.
We offer a big thank you to these ladies for their years of service to the Lord’s work here in the Indiana District, and ask that you join us in expressing our appreciation and keeping them in our prayers for a blessed, well-deserved retirement.
