Resources from Bethesda – My Faith in Action!

Published on August 22nd, 2019

Many people we support at Bethesda tell us being part of a local church community is important. Unfortunately, it can be challenging for caregivers and congregation members to support people with disabilities as they explore their faith.

We use our  My Faith in Action Plan Workbook to learn about each person’s church of choice and what supports are wanted to help that person grow in their faith. The book walks through the desires and options for worshiping and serving in the church and concludes with a Faith Action Profile unique to each individual.   Do you know someone with a disability who needs support on their faith journey?

Our My Faith in Action workbook is just one of the many resources we provide to help congregations fully include people with disabilities in their faith communities. I hope this free gift helps you start a conversation with someone with a disability who needs support on their faith journey.
