The time has come for the annual Indiana District Fall Pastors Conference, where we will once again be meeting at the Embassy Suites in Noblesville. The dates of this year’s conference are October 20-21, and we look forward to welcoming Rev. Dr. Brian Saunders joining us as our speaker, taking in-depth looks at various types of “Visitations” (see more info below). The hotel block closes at the end of the day Friday, September 19, and conference registration is requested by Friday, Oct. 3. There is a lot happening with the 2025 conference, so please take a moment to check out the following info and important links that follow. Looking forward to seeing you in Noblesville!
- Be on the lookout for an ordination / commissioning anniversary listing to come out in early September. Please check it out so we don’t miss anyone for the Anniversary Recognition Luncheon to be held the Tuesday of the conference.
- All those who are new to the roster or new to the Indiana District by transfer this year are requested to attend the pre-conference New Worker Orientation that begins at 10:30 EST on Monday, Oct. 20. There will be more information coming, with a request for your RSVP.
- Are you age 50 or younger? NOW is the time to start having conversations about retirement planning! Concordia Plans is holding a FREE pre-retirement workshop specifically geared this year for the 50 and under age group. The workshop is FREE, but space is limited, so be sure to sign up when you register for Fall Pastors Conference. The workshop will start at 10:00 EST on Monday, Oct. 20. - Our dear Katies (wives, widows, fiancés of pastors) will once again have a Coffee and Conversation opportunity at the conference. No need to register, just plan to grab a coffee and come for informal time together. The Katies will be gathering at 1:05 in Ditslear C on the Monday afternoon of the conference.
- Monday evening of the conference folks will be on their own for dinner. You are also welcome to join us for an informal light pizza reception at the hotel, with pizza, fruit, and dessert, starting around 6:15. Please let us know in your registration if you’re planning to join us for this reception, graciously co-sponsored by LCEF and Visit Hamilton County.
