2019 Health Care Election

Published on September 3rd, 2018

Congratulations to all who successfully made your 2019 health plan election on our new portal! We appreciate your patience as we transition to an online process. If you did not make an election by 8/24/18, you will automatically default to your current/2018 option(s).

Several employers asked about next steps in our new process. Here is a glimpse of what’s coming.

September 2018:
Employers – notify about date they will receive 2019 Open Enrollment (OE) packets and remind them of OE window from 10/15-11/1/18
Workers – notify about OE window (10/15-11/1/18) and new enrollment process

October 2018:
Employers – reminder they should have received OE packet
Workers – introduce the portal and provide information on new enrollment process 10/15-11/1/18 – worker OE period (online via the portal)

December 2018:
Workers – new ID cards will be mailed to workers enrolling in a different option and all workers in WI who have elected a UMR option; timing is end of December.

We have a comprehensive plan using various methods of communication. Our standard practice is to always let our employers know what and when we are sending information to their workers. Stay tuned for more detailed information from our marketing and communications team.
