$17,245 Benefit Gift to University Lutheran, Bloomington

Published on August 20th, 2019

The Indiana District is pleased to announce a gift of $17,245 from Robert and Margaret Seitz for the benefit of University Lutheran Church at Indiana University—Bloomington. Bob and Margaret were good and faithful servants of Christ and, as Bob and Margaret have now been called home, the LCMS Foundation was honored to deliver their gift to the District Office on August 9th.

Pictured above is Andy Behrmann, LCMS Foundation Gift Planning Counselor for the Indiana District, delivering the check to President Brege after daily devotions at the District Office.

The gift will benefit the campus ministry at “ULu,” which serves students and other members of the community in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ at IU and in Bloomington. The Seitzes were strong supporters of campus ministry and included ULu as a beneficiary of their charitable trust through the LCMS Foundation. We thank God for them, for their generosity, and for His saving grace.
