Rev. Samuel I. Ruiz is missionary-at-large to the Hispanic peoples of Central Indiana for Lutheran Multicultural Mission (formerly the Federation of Lutheran Churches Missouri Synod) of Greater Indianapolis.
As missionary-at-large, Rev. Ruiz works with the 14 member congregations of Lutheran Multicultural Mission to minister to the Indianapolis-area Hispanic/Latino community.

A native of Cuba, Rev. Ruiz, began his missionary ministry with Lutheran Multicultural Mission in July 2001. Prior to taking that call Rev. Ruiz served as missionary-at-large for the Indiana District LCMS, ministering to Hispanic people throughout Indiana. An ordained minister of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, Rev. Ruiz earned a Master of Divinity degree in 1994 from Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.
